Our breeding program is built around a simple philosophy: to improve the breed while raising happy, well-adjusted puppies. Our program includes both AKC and CKC registered dogs, and all breeding dogs undergo Embark genetic health testing before entering our program. This testing allows us to make responsible breeding decisions that support the long-term health and integrity of the miniature dachshund breed.

At Sandy Creek, we place a strong emphasis on structural soundness, stable temperaments, and breed standard quality. We carefully select our breeding pairs with these goals in mind to produce puppies that are not only beautiful but also healthy and well-balanced companions.
